Tay Ninh in one day: choose two main stops
For one day from Ho Chi Minh City, choose two main stops instead of collecting every famous name. A practical option pairs Ba Den with the Cao Dai Holy See, provided access and transport fit. A quieter alternative pairs the Holy See with Trang Bang food and craft interests.

Morning: one mountain objective
If Ba Den is the priority, choose whether you want the summit, the pagoda area or an authorised combination before purchasing. Allow time for arrival, queues and walking rather than treating the cable-car ride itself as the whole visit. Check the current service notice. Do not add an unofficial trek as a shortcut or a substitute for a closed route.
Middle of the day: rest and one cultural stop
Take a proper meal and rest before another visit. At the Holy See, confirm visitor access and follow staff instructions; do not make a particular ceremony a guaranteed appointment in a tight route. Dress respectfully, remove shoes where required and avoid obstructing worship. If cultural life matters most, skip the mountain and give this part of the day more time.
Return: keep the food stop optional
A Trang Bang meal can work on the return approach if the actual route allows, but it should not force a late drive. Do not add Dau Tieng or a forest excursion merely because it appears on a list of Tay Ninh highlights. If storms affect the mountain, use the cultural-and-food alternative where access is safe. This is a one-day plan and assumes no overnight stay.
