Vung Tau 3 days, 2 nights: a slower peninsula itinerary
Three days and two nights let you enjoy Vũng Tàu without driving between every named attraction. Keep the stay on the peninsula: a Back Beach day, a Front Beach cultural day and a flexible departure day. Choose at most one hill ascent as a main activity.

Day one: arrive, rest and find your coast
Make the first afternoon light: check in, eat and walk the waterfront nearest your accommodation. If staying by Back Beach, explore the Thùy Vân promenade before deciding whether conditions permit bathing. Identify a meeting point and the way back to the room. Keep dinner nearby. A delayed arrival should not trigger a race to squeeze in a cape and a mountain before dark.
Day two: choose culture or a climb as the anchor
Use Front Beach and White Palace as a cultural cluster if current access suits your group. Alternatively, make a confirmed lighthouse or Christ statue visit the main outing, allowing for steps, heat and rest. The lighthouse is on Núi Nhỏ; do not confuse it with Núi Lớn. At the Christ statue center, follow the operator’s dress and conduct rules, including the prohibition on bringing outside food and drinks. Do not assume entry inside either structure.
Day three: keep an honest weather reserve
Use the final morning for a missed waterfront walk, a meal or food shopping with suitable storage for the journey. Do not rely on a tidal crossing or sea-dependent activity to “complete” the trip. Check out, collect bags and return with a buffer. If day two was disrupted, exchange a flexible stop with this morning only when access and transport still fit. Hồ Tràm and Long Hải are separate destination choices, not obligatory extras just because you have a third day.
