Getting around Vũng Tàu: coastal routes, walking and parking

Use Bãi Trước and the nearby Trần Phú waterfront as one outing; treat Bãi Sau and the southern coast as another. The lighthouse is on Núi Nhỏ, while Bạch Dinh is on the Núi Lớn side. A sea-view road does not necessarily mean a level walk: look at the actual entrance, slope and return pickup point, not just the distance between map pins.

For walking, choose cooler parts of the day, use crossings and keep a shorter route available for rain or heat. For a taxi or booked car, confirm the destination entrance and fare basis before departure. A driver waiting while you visit is a different arrangement from a one-way ride. Ask about waiting charges and how to contact the driver after the visit.

At each stop, follow current signs and staff directions; ask where parking is permitted, the vehicle charge and the collection procedure, and keep the receipt. Do not assume a car can reach every hillside entrance or that a motorbike can use the same expressway as a car. On departure day, avoid leaving a climb or an uncertain pickup immediately before your intercity service. Retain its confirmed boarding point and leave a buffer that reflects actual traffic.
