Bãi Sau after redevelopment: promenade, beach access and a useful visit
At Bãi Sau, combine the Thùy Vân waterfront with a manageable beach visit rather than treating every attraction as a compulsory checklist. The promenade and park can be the outing itself; entering the sea remains a separate, day-of decision.

Understand what changed
The Thùy Vân coastal redevelopment was inaugurated on 19 December 2025. Public waterfront space and landmarks including Tam Thắng Tower and Cầu Đỏ provide orientation points, but the inauguration does not mean every facility or service is open every day. Bãi Sau spans the present Vũng Tàu and Tam Thắng wards; do not reduce the entire beach to one administrative address.
Plan from the entrance, not the hotel photograph
Check the actual pedestrian crossing and permitted access between your accommodation and the beach. With children or a stroller, ask about steps and the surface at that entrance. Agree on a recognisable meeting point before the group separates, and keep a plan for belongings and changing after the beach. Do not assume showers, lockers, parking or a shaded seat are included merely because a listing says near the sea.
Choose a walk or swimming from current conditions
Walk part of the waterfront at a comfortable time, pause for a meal and leave room for returning to the accommodation. Look at warnings and ask lifeguards before considering a swim; use only permitted guarded areas. Rough weather can turn the visit into a dry coastal outing without making it a wasted trip. For photographs, distinguish older views from the current layout and avoid presenting a historical image as proof of today’s facilities or sea conditions.
